These simple toy boats are made from a few scraps of wood i had laying around. they are a great project to get the little ones involved. i have a free set of templates available on my website. Wooden toy boat: this was my first attempt at making a traditional wooden toy boat. a friend needed it for a kids' workshop she was running and it was great excuse for a fun afternoon in the shop. This very large wooden model is a copy the original paddle wheel boat "forceful in portsmouth uk" from 1960. love the atmosphere and the craftsmanship of this handmade ship.
